Indications
Treda is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, such as acute and chronic diarrhea of various etiologies. Neomycin, an antibiotic, helps combat bacterial infections in the intestine. Kaolin and pectin act as adsorbent agents that help stabilize the intestinal mucosa and reduce the frequency of bowel movements. This medication is useful in restoring intestinal function and preventing dehydration associated with diarrhea.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Neomycin: 129 mg
- Kaolin: 280 mg
- Pectin: 30 mg
Contraindications
It should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in cases of diarrhea caused by bacterial infections requiring specific treatment, as well as in patients with severe kidney disease or those with intestinal obstruction.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or those who are undergoing treatment with other medications that affect intestinal flora. It is essential to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the duration of treatment and the dose to be administered. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted for a more complete evaluation.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
