Indications
Trayenta Duo is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. This medication is used in combination with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients who have not achieved adequate blood glucose control with metformin alone, or in those already being treated with Linagliptin and Metformin as combination therapy. Its use is recommended in patients who are overweight or at high risk of cardiovascular complications.
Composition
Each tablet of Trayenta Duo contains 2.5 mg of Linagliptin and 850 mg of Metformin.
Contraindications
Trayenta Duo is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with severe kidney disease, or in those presenting with diabetic ketoacidosis. It is also contraindicated in patients suffering from acute or chronic diseases that may compromise renal function.
Precautions
Caution is required in patients with mild or moderate renal insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of pancreatitis. Renal function should be monitored periodically during treatment. Its use in combination with other medications that may increase the risk of hypoglycemia is not recommended.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
