Indications
Tradol Retard is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, as well as in the management of postoperative pain and pain associated with chronic conditions. This medication acts on the central nervous system, helping to relieve pain by modulating its perception. It is useful in situations where other analgesics have not provided adequate relief. Its use is recommended for patients who require effective pain control, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each Tradol Retard tablet contains 50 mg of tramadol, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in patients with acute intoxication by alcohol, drugs, or medications that act on the central nervous system. Likewise, it is contraindicated in patients suffering from uncontrolled epilepsy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Tradol Retard to patients with a history of seizures, as well as those with respiratory problems or who are receiving treatments that may depress respiratory function. It is important to evaluate the use of this medication in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in the elderly or in patients with liver or kidney diseases.
