Indications
Tiazopir (Dexrabeprazole) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive gastric acid production. It is used in the management of diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and other conditions that require the reduction of acid secretion. Additionally, it can be useful in the prevention of gastric ulcers induced by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Composition
Each Tiazopir tablet contains 10 mg of Dexrabeprazole as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
The use of Tiazopir is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Dexrabeprazole or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to medications of this class.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with severe liver or kidney disease, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with Dexrabeprazole. It is important to perform adequate medical follow-up in patients who require prolonged treatments.
