Indications
Tetanogamma P is indicated for the prophylaxis of Clostridium tetani infection in patients who have suffered wounds or injuries potentially contaminated by this microorganism. It is especially important in cases of dirty or deep wounds, burns, and in individuals who have not received adequate immunization against tetanus. This immunoglobulin provides immediate protection by neutralizing the tetanus toxin, being an essential complement to vaccination with tetanus toxoid, which provides long-term protection.
Composition
Each Tetanogamma P syringe contains human tetanus immunoglobulin, which is obtained from human plasma and treated to ensure its safety and efficacy. The specific concentration and volume can be found on the product packaging.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to human immunoglobulins or to any of the components of the formulation. Furthermore, it should not be administered to individuals with a history of anaphylactic reactions to immunoglobulin.
Precautions
Careful monitoring is recommended in patients with a history of allergic reactions, as well as in those with conditions that compromise the immune system. It should not be administered intravenously and care should be taken when administering to patients with a history of thrombosis or cardiovascular disease.

Store in refrigeration between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.
