Indications
Supradol (Ketorolac) is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain, as well as for the management of postoperative pain. It is used in situations where rapid pain relief is required, including orthopedic and dental surgery. It may also be indicated for the treatment of pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions and in patients requiring analgesia in the context of medical procedures. Administration must be controlled and supervised by a healthcare professional to ensure proper pain management and prevent complications.
Composition
Each Supradol syringe contains 30 mg of Ketorolac, as an active ingredient, in an adequate volume for administration.
Contraindications
Supradol is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to Ketorolac or other NSAIDs, as well as in those with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and during the third trimester of pregnancy. It should not be administered to patients with coagulation disorders or those receiving anticoagulant therapy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, uncontrolled hypertension, heart or kidney failure, as well as in those with a history of asthma or allergic reactions to other NSAIDs. Continuous monitoring of renal function and the cardiovascular system is recommended during treatment with Ketorolac.
