Indications
Supradol is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain, which may be of postoperative, traumatic origin, or due to acute painful conditions, as well as for the management of pain associated with oncological processes. In addition, it can be used for fever management in situations where other antipyretics are not suitable. Its anti-inflammatory action also allows its use in acute inflammatory processes that require pain and inflammation relief.
Composition
Each ampoule of Supradol contains 30 mg of ketorolac as ketorolac tromethamine, as well as appropriate excipients for its formulation. It is important to consult the packaging for more details on specific excipients.
Contraindications
Supradol is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ketorolac or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcers, severe kidney disease, or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. It is also contraindicated in patients who are in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with impaired renal function, as well as in those with a history of hypertension, heart disease, or who are being treated with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants. Renal function and blood pressure should be monitored during treatment. The recommended dose should not be exceeded to avoid adverse effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
