Indications
Staquis Ung 2% is indicated for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in patients two years of age and older. This medication is a phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) inhibitor that works by reducing inflammation and itching associated with this condition. It is recommended for application to affected areas of the skin, with the aim of improving symptoms and promoting skin recovery. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to ensure appropriate and effective treatment.
Composition
Each gram of Staquis Ung contains 20 mg of crisaborole as an active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the ointment.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to crisaborole or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be applied to open wounds or areas with active skin infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with a history of recurrent skin infections. In case of adverse reactions such as irritation or skin rashes, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Use on extensive areas of the skin without adequate medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
