Indications
Sensibit Rin is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching, as well as for the treatment of common cold symptoms. The combination of phenylephrine, a decongestant, and loratadine, an antihistamine, allows for effective action in reducing inflammation and nasal discomfort. This medication is useful in adults and children over 12 years of age, providing symptomatic relief in episodes of seasonal and perennial allergies, as well as in viral processes affecting the upper respiratory tract.
Composition
Each Sensibit Rin capsule contains 30 mg of phenylephrine and 5 mg of loratadine as active ingredients. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Its use is not recommended in patients with uncontrolled arterial hypertension, severe heart disease, or those who are undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them in the last two weeks.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to individuals with heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or glaucoma. In case of adverse effects such as drowsiness or dizziness, driving or operating heavy machinery should be avoided. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
