Indications
Sensemoc Effervescent is indicated for the treatment of various respiratory diseases where mucus fluidification is required, thus aiding its elimination. It is commonly used in cases of bronchitis, pneumonia, and other pulmonary conditions involving excessive secretion production. Acetylcysteine acts as a mucolytic, breaking disulfide bonds in mucus molecules, which facilitates its expulsion and improves respiratory function.
Additionally, it can be used in the treatment of paracetamol poisoning, acting as an antidote by replenishing glutathione levels in the liver and preventing liver damage.
Composition
Each effervescent tablet contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine as the active ingredient. Excipients: anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of active gastric ulcer or gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Caution should be exercised in patients with asthma, as it may cause bronchospasm.
Precautions
Medical supervision is recommended for patients with a history of respiratory diseases or difficulty expectorating. Caution should also be exercised in patients with liver or kidney disease, as well as in those undergoing treatment with medications that may affect liver function.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
