Indications
Rifocyna is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to rifamycin. This medication is primarily used for respiratory infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and in the treatment of tuberculosis as part of a combined therapy. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and other bacterial species found in the normal flora of the body. It is important that the use of Rifocyna is supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate duration and dosage according to the pathology to be treated.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Rifocyna Spray contains 1 g of Rifamycin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the spray formulation.
Contraindications
Rifocyna is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rifamycin or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to individuals with a history of severe liver diseases, as it could worsen their condition. It is also contraindicated in patients who are receiving treatments that could interact adversely with rifamycin.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when used in patients with liver or kidney diseases. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate liver function before and during treatment. It is essential to follow the doctor's instructions regarding dosage and treatment duration to prevent the development of bacterial resistance. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

Store at room temperature, in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
