Indications
Reosvec (Risedronic Acid) is indicated for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It is also used in the treatment of Paget's disease of bone and for the prevention of fractures in patients with osteoporosis. Risedronic acid acts by inhibiting bone resorption, which contributes to increasing bone mineral density and reducing the risk of fractures. This medication is especially useful in patients with a history of osteoporotic fractures or in those with risk factors for the development of osteoporosis.
Composition
Each Reosvec tablet contains 35 mg of risedronic acid as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Reosvec is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to risedronic acid or any component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with uncorrected hypocalcemia or in those with esophageal abnormalities that hinder swallowing. Likewise, its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, especially esophagitis. It is important to ensure adequate intake of calcium and vitamin D during treatment. Renal function should be monitored before starting treatment and periodically during its use, as risedronic acid may affect renal function in some patients.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
