Indications
Onemer is a drug indicated for the management of acute pain, including postoperative pain and pain associated with surgical procedures. It is also used in the treatment of inflammatory pain, such as that experienced in rheumatic conditions. Ketorolac, its active ingredient, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which helps reduce inflammation and pain. Its use is recommended for adults and should be administered under medical supervision, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions that may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Composition
Each ampoule of Onemer contains: Ketorolac tromethamine 30 mg. Excipients: water for injection, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment).
Contraindications
Onemer is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with active gastric or intestinal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, or in those receiving treatment with other NSAIDs. Likewise, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, except in specific indications and under strict medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, hepatic or renal insufficiency, asthma, arterial hypertension, and in those receiving anticoagulants. It is important to monitor renal function during prolonged treatments and avoid its use in combination with other anti-inflammatories or analgesics without proper medical guidance.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
