Indications

Nevrika is indicated for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, neuropathic pain, and fibromyalgia. It is also used as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures in adults with epilepsy. Pregabalin works by modulating the release of excitatory neurotransmitters, which contributes to pain reduction and more effective control of epileptic seizures. It is important that the use of this medication be under the supervision of a physician who will evaluate the need for and response to treatment.

Composition

Each Nevrika capsule contains: Pregabalin 75 mg.

Contraindications

Nevrika is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any of the excipients in the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse or addiction problems, due to its potential for dependence.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with renal insufficiency, as the dose may require adjustments. Likewise, it is important to monitor patients who experience symptoms of depression or suicidal thoughts during treatment. Abrupt discontinuation of the medication can cause withdrawal symptoms, so a gradual reduction of the dose under medical supervision is recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
