Indications
Neo-Melubrina Inf Suppository is indicated for the treatment of pain and fever in children. It is used in situations where the use of analgesics and antipyretics is necessary, such as in cases of high fever, postoperative pain, or pain associated with infectious diseases. This medication is effective in reducing fever in febrile conditions and in managing acute moderate to severe pain. Additionally, it can be used in patients who cannot take medication orally due to vomiting or inability to swallow. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for the proper use of this medication.
Composition
Each suppository contains 300 mg of Metamizole Sodium as the active ingredient. Excipients: gelatin, glycerin, and other inert excipients.
Contraindications
This medication should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Metamizole Sodium or any other component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with hematological diseases, as well as in those with severe hepatic or renal failure. Its use is not recommended in patients with bronchial asthma, or in those who have had allergic reactions to non-steroidal analgesics.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in the use of Neo-Melubrina in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those who are undergoing treatment with medications that may affect coagulation. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function during prolonged treatment. Combination with other analgesics or antipyretics should be avoided without a doctor's supervision.
