Indications
Neo-Melubrina Duo is indicated for the treatment of fever and severe pain. It is used in cases of acute pain of various etiologies, including postoperative pain, oncological pain, and for the management of fever in conditions that do not respond to other antipyretics. This medicine acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, providing relief in situations where pain and fever may compromise the patient's well-being.
Composition
Each Neo-Melubrina Duo tablet contains 500 mg of Metamizole Sodium as the active ingredient, as well as the necessary excipients for the medicine's formulation.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Metamizole Sodium or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other non-steroidal analgesics. Likewise, it is contraindicated in cases of severe liver failure, severe kidney failure, and in patients with hepatic porphyria.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Neo-Melubrina Duo in patients with a history of asthma, liver or kidney diseases, and in those who are being treated with other drugs that may affect liver function. Adequate monitoring of renal and hepatic function is recommended during treatment. Likewise, its use in combination with other analgesics should be avoided without medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
