Indications
Mucoflux is indicated in the treatment of respiratory diseases that involve airflow obstruction and excessive mucus production. It is useful in conditions such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchitis, where adequate bronchodilation and a mucolytic effect are required to improve expectoration. The combination of Salbutamol, a fast-acting bronchodilator, and Ambroxol, a mucolytic, helps relieve cough and facilitate breathing, contributing to improved lung function.
Composition
Each 5 ml of Mucoflux Suspension contains 150 mg of Salbutamol and 40 mg of Ambroxol.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of tachycardia or severe arrhythmias. Its use is not recommended in patients with pheochromocytoma or in those receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus, and in those with kidney or liver problems. Monitoring is recommended for patients who show signs of allergy or adverse effects after drug administration.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
