Indications
Motruxia (Aripiprazole) is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age. It is also used in the treatment of bipolar disorder, both in manic episodes and in mixed episodes. This medication is effective in the treatment of major depression symptoms when used as an adjunctive therapy. Additionally, it has been shown to be useful in the treatment of behavioral disorders in patients with autism spectrum disorder. It is important that treatment with Motruxia be supervised by a healthcare professional, as its use must be individualized according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each Motruxia tablet contains 15 mg of Aripiprazole as the active ingredient. Excipients include: lactose, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
Motruxia is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Aripiprazole or to any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reaction to antipsychotic medications. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe cardiovascular disease or severe hepatic insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Motruxia to patients with a history of seizures, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, or those with risk factors for the development of tardive dyskinesia. It is important to monitor weight and blood glucose levels during treatment. The use of this medication in pregnant or lactating women should be evaluated by a physician.
