Indications
Motrin Pediatric is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain in children. It is effective in managing conditions such as headache, toothache, muscle pain, and pain associated with inflammatory processes. It is also used in the treatment of feverish states and in conditions of colds and flu. Ibuprofen acts as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which helps reduce inflammation, pain, and fever, providing relief to pediatric patients.
Composition
Each milliliter of syrup contains 40 mg of ibuprofen as the active ingredient. In addition, it contains excipients that facilitate the formulation of the syrup and its palatability, making it easier to administer to children.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of its components. It should not be administered in cases of active gastric or duodenal ulcers, bleeding disorders, or severe renal insufficiency. Likewise, it is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Motrin Pediatric to patients with a history of asthma, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or kidney disease. Prior medical evaluation is recommended if the patient is undergoing treatment with other anti-inflammatory drugs or anticoagulants. It is important to monitor renal function during prolonged treatments.

Keep the bottle tightly closed, at room temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
