Indications
Mobicox is indicated for the treatment of various conditions involving pain and inflammation. It is used in the management of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, as well as for the treatment of acute pain, including postoperative pain and musculoskeletal pain. Meloxicam, its active ingredient, works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which contributes to the reduction of inflammation and pain relief. It is important that its use be under medical supervision and that specific instructions for each patient are followed, considering their clinical condition and medical history.
Composition
Each ampoule of Mobicox contains Meloxicam 15 mg in 1.5 ml of injectable solution. Excipients: sodium chloride, water for injections, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of allergic reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is also contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, and severe hepatic insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those with heart failure, hypertension, or conditions predisposing to fluid retention. It is advisable to monitor renal and hepatic function during treatment. Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs, including aspirin, due to the increased risk of gastrointestinal side effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
