Indications
Minipres (prazosin) is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension, helping to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. It is also used in the treatment of symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), improving urinary flow in men with difficulty urinating due to this condition. It is important to note that the use of Minipres should be supervised by a doctor, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment for each patient, considering their clinical history and existing health conditions.
Composition
Each Minipres capsule contains 2 mg of prazosin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Minipres is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to prazosin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe orthostatic hypotension, severe hepatic insufficiency, or during pregnancy and lactation without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
