Indications
Lamictal (lamotrigine) is indicated for the treatment of various forms of epilepsy, including generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial seizures, in adults and children over 2 years of age. It is also used in the treatment of bipolar disorder, specifically to prevent episodes of depression in patients with this disorder. Its use is recommended as part of a combination therapy or as monotherapy, depending on the patient's response and the severity of the condition.
Composition
Each dispersible tablet contains 100 mg of lamotrigine as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, among others.
Contraindications
Lamictal is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lamotrigine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients who are receiving treatment with other antiepileptic drugs containing valproate, as this may increase the risk of adverse reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of skin rashes, as Lamictal may increase the risk of severe skin reactions. It is important to adjust the dose in patients with hepatic or renal impairment. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before starting treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
