Indications
Gestageno 200 mg is indicated for the treatment of disorders related to progesterone deficiency. It is used in cases of secondary amenorrhea, menstrual irregularities, as well as in hormone replacement therapies during menopause. In addition, it is prescribed as part of the treatment for patients at risk of spontaneous abortion in high-risk pregnancies and in endometrial preparation for assisted reproductive techniques.
Composition
Each capsule contains: Progesterone 200 mg. Excipients: gelatin, glycerin, and other inactive components that facilitate product formulation.
Contraindications
Gestageno is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to progesterone or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in cases of undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, known or suspected breast cancer, active thromboembolic disease, and in patients with a history of thromboembolic events.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Gestageno with caution in patients with a history of thromboembolic disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or liver disorders. It is essential to carry out adequate medical follow-up during treatment. Patients with psychiatric disorders should be monitored, given that hormone use can affect mood.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
