Indications
Flanax Fem is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, as well as for the reduction of inflammation in various conditions. It is commonly used in the management of pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea), arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions. Naproxen, its active ingredient, acts as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps relieve pain and inflammation by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, chemical mediators that contribute to inflammation and pain.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Naproxen 550 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Flanax Fem is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to naproxen or other NSAIDs. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other analgesics or anti-inflammatories. It is also contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in patients using anticoagulants. Renal function should be monitored during prolonged treatments. Flanax Fem should be used at the minimum dose and duration necessary to control symptoms.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
