Indications
Etagerin is indicated for the treatment of liver disorders, including hepatitis and cirrhosis. Silymarin, its active ingredient, has been traditionally used to support liver function, aiding in the regeneration of liver cells and offering antioxidant properties. Additionally, silymarin has been shown to be beneficial in preventing toxin and drug-induced liver damage. Its use may be considered in patients with elevated liver function tests, as well as those with chronic liver diseases.
Composition
Each Etagerin tablet contains 150 mg of silymarin, in addition to excipients necessary for tablet formulation.
Contraindications
Etagerin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to silymarin or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with biliary obstruction or in those with advanced liver diseases without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients taking other medications that may affect liver function. Regular medical follow-up is important during treatment, especially in individuals with pre-existing liver conditions. The use of this medication should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation, unless indicated by a physician. Consult your doctor before starting treatment.
