Indications
Elatec is indicated for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, which is characterized by symptoms such as heaviness, pain, cramps, and edema in the lower limbs. Additionally, it is used in the management of acute and chronic hemorrhoids, contributing to the reduction of inflammation and the relief of associated discomfort. This medication may also be useful in the treatment of microcirculatory disorders, where the aim is to improve perfusion and venous drainage. The combination of Diosmin and Hesperidin enhances venotonic and anti-inflammatory effects, resulting in a significant improvement of symptoms associated with these conditions.
Composition
Each Elatec tablet contains 500 mg of Diosmin and 100 mg of Hesperidin as active ingredients. It also includes excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Elatec is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless under strict medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergy to flavonoids. It is important to inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking to avoid potential interactions. In case of adverse effects, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
Storage
Elatec should be stored in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
