Indications
Dalvear Sf Inf Syrup is a medication indicated for the treatment of dry and productive cough, facilitating the elimination of bronchial secretions. The combination of dropropizine, an antitussive, and bromhexine, a mucolytic, not only suppresses the cough but also improves the fluidification of mucus, resulting in better expectoration. It is used in cases of respiratory diseases that involve coughing and sputum production, such as acute respiratory infections, bronchitis, and other pulmonary disorders.
Composition
Each 10 ml of syrup contains:
- Dropropizine: 150 mg
- Bromhexine: 80 mg
- Excipients: q.s. for 10 ml
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or in patients with active gastrointestinal ulcers.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications. It is advisable to consult a doctor before starting treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
