Indications
Dalvear Sf is a medication indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry and productive cough. Dropropizine acts as an antitussive, helping to reduce the cough reflex, while bromhexine acts as a mucolytic, facilitating the expulsion of mucous secretions. This medication is used in conditions such as bronchitis, common colds, and other respiratory infections where a cough is present, relieving throat irritation and improving patient comfort. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for proper use and to determine the duration of treatment.
Composition
Each 10 ml of syrup contains: Dropropizine 160 mg and Bromhexine 300 mg.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Its use is not recommended in people with active peptic ulcer or in those with severe liver or kidney function problems.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of chronic respiratory diseases and in those who are being treated with other medications that may affect respiratory function. It is advisable to avoid simultaneous use with other antitussives without medical supervision. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless prescribed by a doctor.
