Indications
Daktarin Cream 2% is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi sensitive to miconazole. This includes, but is not limited to, candidal dermatitis, ringworm, intertrigo, and other fungal skin infections. It is also effective in the treatment of fungal infections affecting nails and skin folds, as well as in the prevention of fungal infections in areas prone to moisture.
Composition
Each 1g of cream contains 20mg of miconazole. It also contains excipients such as cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, and other components that facilitate absorption and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Daktarin Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to miconazole or any of the formula's components. It should not be applied to open wounds or areas with severe skin lesions.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Daktarin with caution in patients with a history of allergic reactions. Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should also be avoided. If irritation or an adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Its use in children under 2 years of age without medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of reach of children. Do not expose to direct light or humidity.
