Indications
Cronolevel is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring a potent anti-inflammatory, as well as in situations where immunosuppression is sought. Specific indications include:
- Rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
- Dermatological diseases such as dermatitis and severe psoriasis.
- Allergic and respiratory disorders such as bronchial asthma.
- Hematological conditions such as thrombocytopathies and hemolytic anemias.
- Treatment of certain types of cancer, such as leukemias and lymphomas, where effective symptomatic management is required.
Composition
Each ampoule of Cronolevel contains:
- Betamethasone: 5 mg
- Betamethasone dipropionate: 2 mg
- Excipients: q.s.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to betamethasone or any component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of uncontrolled systemic infections, active peptic ulcers, and in patients with certain medical conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes or severe renal failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of infections, as betamethasone can increase the risk of infections. Likewise, it is important to monitor patients with cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, or psychiatric diseases. Prolonged use can lead to significant adverse effects, so regular follow-up by a physician is recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
