Indications
Coriatros Duo is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medication combines two antihypertensive agents: candesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. The combination of these two drugs helps to reduce blood pressure more effectively than either agent alone, which can decrease the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension.
Composition
Each tablet contains 16 mg of candesartan cilexetil and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide as active ingredients. Excipients include lactose, starch, and other inactive components necessary for the drug's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema associated with previous ACE inhibitor treatments. It is also contraindicated in cases of anuria, pregnancy, and lactation.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of kidney or liver diseases, or who are taking other medications that affect blood pressure. Likewise, care should be taken in patients with diabetes mellitus, as the use of diuretics can affect blood glucose control. It is important to regularly monitor blood pressure and electrolytes during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
