Indications
Contac Ultra is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with colds and allergies, including fever, headache, nasal congestion, and sneezing. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, reducing fever and relieving pain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that helps relieve nasal congestion, while chlorphenamine is an antihistamine that reduces allergy symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Phenylephrine 5 mg
- Chlorphenamine 2 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with severe liver disease, severe high blood pressure, or patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, diabetes, hyperactive thyroid, narrow-angle glaucoma, or in those who regularly consume alcohol. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless indicated by a physician. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
