Indications
Conagrad is indicated as an adjunct treatment for weight reduction in overweight and obese patients. It is used in combination with a hypocaloric diet and a physical exercise program to improve treatment efficacy. This medication works by inhibiting fat absorption in the intestine, which contributes to body weight reduction. Additionally, it can be used in patients with a history of overweight to maintain weight after an initial loss.
Composition
Each Conagrad capsule contains 120 mg of Orlistat and 100 mg of Resveratrol. Excipients include: gelatin, colorants, and other excipients according to the standard laboratory formulation.
Contraindications
Conagrad is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with chronic malabsorption syndrome or cholestasis. Likewise, it is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with liver or kidney function disorders. It is important to monitor liver function during treatment.
