Indications
Bronar is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases involving excessive mucus production, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, as well as in conditions requiring relief from productive cough. The combination of Ambroxol and Loratadine provides a mucolytic and antihistaminic effect, facilitating the elimination of secretions and the reduction of allergic symptoms. This medication is useful in managing symptoms associated with upper and lower respiratory infections and can be used as part of a combined therapy in patients with asthmatic conditions.
Composition
Each 100 ml of solution contains:
- Ambroxol: 600 mg
- Loratadine: Adequate dose for the treatment of allergic symptoms.
Contraindications
Bronar should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other antihistamines. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases or kidney failure without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with gastric or duodenal ulcers. Liver and kidney function should be assessed before starting treatment. It should not be used in combination with other medications that may potentially cause sedation. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be avoided unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
