Indications
Biogenfine is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is particularly useful in situations where other analgesics have not provided adequate relief. This medication acts on the central nervous system to relieve pain and can be used in patients with conditions such as cancer, postoperative pain, or chronic pain. It is essential that its use be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on the patient's clinical evaluation.
Composition
Each Biogenfine tablet contains 10 mg of morphine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for tablet formation, although these do not affect the pharmacological activity of the medication.
Contraindications
Biogenfine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to morphine or any component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in cases of severe respiratory failure, acute bronchial asthma, and in patients with gastrointestinal obstruction. It should not be administered during pregnancy and lactation unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of substance abuse, as well as in those with pulmonary, renal, or hepatic diseases. Morphine can cause dependence and tolerance, so continuous medical monitoring is recommended during treatment. Furthermore, the use of this medication may impair the ability to drive or operate heavy machinery.
