Indications
Betnovate Scalp Lotion is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect. It is useful in cases of seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and other inflammatory dermatoses. Its action is based on betamethasone's ability to reduce inflammation, redness, and itching of the skin. Its use is recommended for scalp areas and other regions where these conditions are present, always under medical supervision.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Betnovate Scalp Lotion contains: Betamethasone (0.94 g) and excipients.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to betamethasone or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in untreated skin infections, cutaneous tuberculosis, and in cases of chickenpox or herpes simplex.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when applying Betnovate Scalp to sensitive skin or skin with extensive lesions. Prolonged use can cause systemic adverse effects, especially in children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
