Indications

Zydilo is indicated for the treatment of narcolepsy, a sleep disorder characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness. It is also used in the treatment of shift work sleep disorder, promoting wakefulness and alertness in people who work night shifts. Modafinil acts as a wakefulness-promoting agent, helping to improve attention and cognitive performance in patients with these conditions.

Composition

Each Zydilo tablet contains 200 mg of modafinil as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that aid in the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Zydilo is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to modafinil or any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, severe psychiatric disorders, or in those who are using monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of seizures, high blood pressure, or heart disease. Medical monitoring is important during treatment, especially in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders. Zydilo should be used with caution in the elderly and in patients with kidney or liver problems.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
