Indications
Yurelax is indicated for the treatment of muscle spasms associated with acute musculoskeletal conditions. This medication can be used to relieve muscle tension and pain resulting from injuries and muscle disorders. Its use is especially relevant in situations requiring temporary relief of muscle stiffness and pain, thus facilitating functional recovery and patient rehabilitation. Additionally, it can be useful in complementary physical therapy treatments.
Composition
Each capsule contains 5 mg of cyclobenzaprine as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other inert excipients.
Contraindications
Yurelax is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cyclobenzaprine or any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of recent myocardial infarction, cardiac arrhythmias, and in those with severe hypertension or heart failure. Its use is not recommended in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disorders, as cyclobenzaprine is metabolized in the liver. Likewise, alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment, as it may enhance the sedative effects of the medication. Monitoring of elderly patients is recommended, as they may be more susceptible to adverse effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
