Indications
Yurelax (cyclobenzaprine) is indicated for the treatment of acute muscle spasms and pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions. It is also used as part of the management of acute pain that may be associated with injuries, tension, or conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. This medication acts as a centrally acting muscle relaxant, helping to reduce muscle tension and pain.
Composition
Each Yurelax capsule contains 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Yurelax should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to cyclobenzaprine or any of the excipients in the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with liver disease or who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within two weeks prior to the start of treatment. Its use is not recommended in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma or urinary retention.
Precautions
Before starting treatment with Yurelax, a complete medical evaluation is important. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of epilepsy, heart disease, or those who are being treated with other medications that affect the central nervous system. Prolonged use of cyclobenzaprine can lead to dependence and its use is not recommended in patients over 65 years of age without adequate medical supervision.
Storage
Store Yurelax in its original, tightly closed container, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 °C) and away from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
