Indications
Yuredol is indicated for the relief of muscle pain and reduction of spasms in acute musculoskeletal conditions. It is recommended for the treatment of back pain, muscle injuries, and in situations where muscle relaxation is required. The combination of cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxant, and lysine, an amino acid, enhances the effects on reducing muscle tension, facilitating recovery and improving patient mobility.
Composition
Each Yuredol capsule contains:
- Cyclobenzaprine: 10 mg
- Lysine: 250 mg
Contraindications
Yuredol should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It is contraindicated in those with a history of heart disease, as well as in patients who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have used these medications in the last two weeks. Its use is prohibited in patients with closed-angle glaucoma and in those with urinary retention.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, liver, or kidney disease. It is important to monitor elderly patients, who may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of the medication. The use of Yuredol in combination with alcohol or sedatives is not recommended, as it may enhance the central nervous system depressant effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
