Indications

Voldratol is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults and children over 6 years of age. It is also used in patients with heart failure and in those who have suffered an acute myocardial infarction. Valsartan, its active ingredient, works by blocking angiotensin II receptors, which helps reduce blood pressure and improve heart function. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the dose and duration of treatment.

Composition

Each sachet of Voldratol contains 28.12 grams of valsartan as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to valsartan or any of the excipients. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor blockers. Its use is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with renal artery stenosis, kidney failure, or liver diseases. Additionally, blood pressure and kidney function should be monitored during treatment. It is important for patients to inform their doctor about any other medications they are taking to avoid interactions.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
