Indications

Valait is indicated as a dietary supplement for the prevention and treatment of folate deficiency. Methylfolate is an active form of vitamin B9, essential for DNA synthesis and amino acid metabolism. It is particularly useful in situations where there is an increased demand for folate, such as during pregnancy, lactation, and in patients with conditions that affect its absorption. Its use is recommended in cases of megaloblastic anemia, neurological developmental disorders, and as part of the treatment for diseases related to homocysteine metabolism.

Composition

Each Valait capsule contains 15 mg of Methylfolate, in addition to excipients that facilitate its absorption and stability.

Contraindications

Valait should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to methylfolate or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with untreated anemias not related to folate deficiency.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of psychiatric illnesses, as methylfolate may influence mood. It is also important to inform patients about the need to follow medical recommendations and not exceed the indicated dose. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
