Indications

Ulsen 20 mg is a medication indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excess stomach acid. It is commonly used in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where it helps reduce the frequency of acid reflux episodes. In addition, it is effective in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, contributing to the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. It is also prescribed for the prevention of gastric ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Composition

Each Ulsen capsule contains 20 mg of omeprazole as an active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.

Contraindications

Ulsen is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver disease.

Precautions

It is recommended to evaluate liver function before starting treatment with Ulsen, as well as to monitor patients requiring prolonged treatment. In cases of peptic ulcer symptoms, it is advisable to rule out the presence of gastric neoplasms before starting treatment, as omeprazole can mask the symptoms of these conditions.

Storage

Store Ulsen in its original packaging, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius), protected from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
