Indications
Turazive is indicated for the treatment of hyperuricemia in patients with gout. This medication works by reducing uric acid levels in the blood, which helps prevent gout attacks and other problems related to uric acid accumulation. Its use is recommended in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments or who have contraindications for the use of these. Turazive should be used as part of a comprehensive approach that includes diet and lifestyle changes.
Composition
Each Turazive tablet contains 80 mg of Febuxostat as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that contribute to the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Febuxostat or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Furthermore, it should be avoided in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with Febuxostat. Regular monitoring of uric acid levels in the blood is recommended during treatment. In case of adverse reactions, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
