Indications
Tobrex Eye Drops is a medication indicated for the treatment of eye infections caused by bacteria sensitive to tobramycin. It is effective in the treatment of conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and keratitis. This medication is used in patients requiring local antibiotic treatment in the eye, as well as in those at risk of ocular infections during surgical procedures. Tobramycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, leading to the death of susceptible bacteria.
Composition
Each ml of Tobrex Eye Drops contains 3 mg of tobramycin as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as sodium chloride, boric acid, tyloxapol, and purified water, which allow for the proper formulation of the product for ocular administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to tobramycin or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended for eye infections caused by viruses or fungi, nor in cases where antibiotic use is not indicated.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to aminoglycoside antibiotics. If symptoms do not improve after a few days of treatment, a doctor should be consulted. Avoid contact of the dropper with surfaces to prevent contamination of the product. It should not be used in combination with other ophthalmic products unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature, away from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
