Indications
Thevier is indicated for the treatment of hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. This medication can also be used in the treatment of goiters, as well as in the suppression of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) production in patients with thyroid cancer. Levothyroxine sodium is a thyroid hormone replacement that helps regulate the body's metabolism, growth and development, and nervous system function. It is essential that the treatment is adjusted to the individual needs of the patient, based on hormone levels and clinical response.
Composition
Each Thevier tablet contains 75 mcg of levothyroxine sodium as an active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Thevier is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levothyroxine sodium or any of the medication's excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with untreated hyperthyroidism, untreated Addison's disease, and during adrenal crises.
