Indications

Thealoz Duo is an ophthalmic solution indicated for the treatment of dry eye and the protection of the ocular surface. It is formulated with trehalose, a disaccharide that acts as a cell protector, and sodium hyaluronate, which provides prolonged hydration. It is especially useful in conditions of dry eye caused by environmental factors, such as exposure to screens, air conditioning, wind, or smoke. It is also indicated for contact lens wearers, as it helps maintain ocular comfort and the health of the eye surface. Its use is recommended in situations of ocular stress, to relieve the sensation of itching, burning, and stinging.

Composition

Each ml of Thealoz Duo contains: Trehalose 3% and Sodium Hyaluronate 0.15%. Excipients: Sodium chloride, disodium phosphate, purified water.

Contraindications

Thealoz Duo is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of active eye infections without medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe eye diseases or those undergoing concomitant treatment with other ophthalmic medications. Avoid contact of the dropper with surfaces and eyes to prevent contamination. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Once opened, use within 3 months to ensure product effectiveness.
