Tempolib is indicated for the treatment of functional disorders of the digestive system, including irritable bowel syndrome, where symptoms such as abdominal pain, distension, and changes in bowel rhythm are present. It is also used in the management of intestinal cramps and in conditions requiring regulation of intestinal motility. Trimebutine acts as a modulator of gastrointestinal motility, helping to relieve discomfort and disorders related to intestinal transit.
Composition
Each Tempolib tablet contains 300 mg of trimebutine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to trimebutine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with intestinal obstruction or in cases of diseases that contraindicate intestinal motility.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases. It is important to consider the use of Tempolib with monitoring in elderly patients or those with underlying health conditions. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
