Indications
Talizer is indicated in the treatment of various medical conditions, including multiple myeloma and certain dermatological diseases. Thalidomide acts by inhibiting angiogenesis and modulating the immune system, which can be beneficial in the treatment of hematological neoplasms and in the relief of symptoms in diseases such as leprosy. It is recommended that its use be supervised by a specialist physician, who will assess the need for treatment and adjust the dose according to the patient's response.
Composition
Each Talizer tablet contains 100 mg of thalidomide as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Talizer is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to thalidomide or any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women, due to the potential risks to the fetus or infant. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of venous or arterial thromboembolism.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of depression, peripheral neuropathies, or hematological diseases. Regular monitoring of hematological function and signs of thrombosis is essential during treatment. Concomitant use with other drugs that may increase the risk of thrombosis is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
