Indications
Svofast (Sevoflurane) is indicated for the induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in adult and pediatric patients. It is used in surgical procedures requiring inhaled anesthesia. Sevoflurane is known for its rapid and easily controllable anesthetic properties, allowing for a quick onset of anesthesia and efficient patient recovery after the intervention. It is also suitable for anesthesia in patients with pre-existing lung diseases due to its safety profile.
Composition
Each 100 mL of Svofast contains:
- Sevoflurane: 100%
Excipients: purified water, contains no preservatives.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sevoflurane or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of malignant hyperthermia or in those with pathological conditions that contraindicate the use of inhaled anesthetics.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with respiratory, cardiovascular, or liver diseases. Cardiovascular function should be carefully monitored during administration. Patients should be evaluated before surgery to assess potential risks related to anesthesia. In pregnant or breastfeeding women, its use must be evaluated by a physician.
Storage
Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
